Week 5- sculpture remote

I made the piece outside because I wanted it to blend in with the landscape and look natural. When looking back at the photos I told our contextual practice group that if I was to improve it I would’ve put in some people to make the piece into almost a landmark. They responded well to that idea so I thought it would be a good idea to draw a comic strip of characters hiking up the piece like a pilgrimage. I didn’t want spend ages thinking and planning so I did the first panel and then just followed that same structure for the next two which I felt was effective.
